A Different thing

Today we did the last two activities, we swimmed at the waterfall and we went to the forest . Some people that went on the waterfall went FREEZING COLD!!!!! They felt like an `ice cream`. Also yesterday we had a disco, a 70`s disco. I think it was the best disco of all trips that Barra people went with the school. Also Felippa and Ines are having their birthday today. Tomorrow we are going home I don’t believe that the time went by so quickly.

Frozen for one hour

Today I went to the waterfall were I went in the coldest water in my life and when I actually put my head under the water… I couldn’t feel it. I was nearly frozen to death but it was soooo much fun.

The 3 Peaks

Today me and my group, group 3, went to the three peaks. It was awesome! Group 2, who went in the day before, said we would die, but actually it was very easy. We had lots of fun singing silly songs.

My Wednesday

Yesterday I took very long to sleep, so today I woke up really tired. I had my breakfast and came to the Riverside. (Where I am now) Here, me and my group did some river analysis, which was fun but cold. (Brr!) When we arrive at the hotel we’ll have lunch and get ready for our next activity, a waterfall research. Spending time working with my friends is getting each time better. Tonight is the 70’s Disco Night, I can’t wait.

Adventures!

Today I went to the 3 peaks and everyone said it was going to be hard and everybody in my group was scared, but when we were going on the way to the top it was tiring and on the way down it was very easy and complicated.

Today, group 3 went to the three peaks. Everybody on group 2 said it was almost impossible, but when we got there, it was really easy.

Today

Today I went to the high ropes course. It was boring when you had to hold the rope for the people’s security, but it was necessary. When I got on the ropes it is harder then I expected and it was fun. My other activity was waterfall research and cartography and it was really fun.

Three Peaks

Today I woke up very early to go to the Three Peaks. It was very tiring. We walked a lot but when you get at the top you see a wonderful view. It was a great day!

History in the Making!

The above picture is a piece of TBS Barra Site history in the making as the eight students were the very first Barra students to successfully conquer the infamous 3 Peaks at Itatiaia!

10 hours walking!

Today we went on the Three Peaks walk where we walked for 9 hours with some snacks and water breaks. When we got to the top we took beautiful photos and the Barra class was the happiest because we were the first children going up the Three Peaks! But when we got back after the shower we couldn’t feel our feet but if I were you I would go, to take amazing photos and to feel good about yourself!

Diary! Today I really liked it, more than yesterday. We went to the Maromba and I was really tired and the waterfall was freezing, but anyway I loved it. I’m loving Itatiaia.

Three Peaks

Today we went to a very exhausting trip! We slipped on mud, we tripped on stones. When we were all giving up we got up to the top! It was very hot up there and we did all the measurements and we came down. After I got back I could not feel my legs but now I have eaten and I’m a lot better!
